Back to School

Summer is over and its back to school we go! Of course, by "we" I mean Brad... He had his first day on Monday! We got up early and had a big breakfast and took his first-day-of-school photo and everything. But in honor of summer coming to a close I thought I would post some pictures of all the adventures we've had:

We took a last minute camping trip with Lauren and Van, that was supposed to be in Pine Valley but ended up being somwhere past Enterprise. We had a blast roasting hot dogs and catching up! We really wish those two lived closer!

*This picture of Van and Brad cracked us right up! There was some male bonding going on..
We went to the Shelton, Peck and Lucero family reunion at San Onofre Beach, California. We had fun playing on the beach, hunting for buried treasure and learning to surf! It was fun to get to know the rest of Brad's family that I had never met. I think I spent most of my time laughing!

We hit up Legoland with the Shelton's while we were there too. The best part is, when Brad and I got in line to buy our tickets the lady in front of us was like "Are you two buying tickets?" We told her we were and she just handed us two free tickets! She was like "Here, we're not going to use these and they expire tomorrow so you might as well use them." She didn't want us to buy them from her or anything. We were like "Really?....For free?....Thanks!!" It was pretty sweet. Here is the Lego version of where we stayed on our Honeymoon in Vegas, before we got on our cruise!
We braved Mt. Trumbull for the Bundy family reunion. There was skeet shootin', horse shoes, talent shows, line dancin' and of course, the races! Everyone in my family runs, whether you like it or not, starting with little Jossie all the way up to Grandpa! Brad even wore his boots and cowboy hat so he would fit in.

We spent a whole heap of time out a Tuacahn. We both worked there during the day then on Footloose nights I would House Manage and while I did that he would work on Aida. We did watch Sophie in Annie a couple of times though on the off night. Shout out to Soph and Penny! (Sorry you're not in the photo Penny, we love you!)

I always hate to see summer come to an end, but I guess we have to get back to real life eventually...grad school should be quite the adventure in and of itself!
