LUSHtastic!

Work is...interesting. Don't get me wrong, I like it! I'm very, VERY grateful to even have a job in an economy when so many people don't. Especially in an state that's 20 billion dollars in debt. My manager is always very willing to work around anything that may come up in my schedule. My co-workers are pretty wild, but we get along great. We have parties at work at least once a month (Like, orders from corporate, they're mandatory), sometimes more, most of which we have to dress up for. Here are some pictures of a couple of the parties.

These are from our actual Christmas Party at a bowling alley.

We have a good time together, but we couldn't be more different. We have all kinds in our store! But variety is the spice of life, is it not!?

Perhaps the most important thing I've learned from working here is the importance of getting an education. My plan was to move here, work for a year (until I became a resident) and then go back to school. But I soon realized that I needed to go back to school right away, and stop putting it off. I'm a firm believer that the Lord directs your life. Sometimes in funny, unexpected ways, I would have never planned on working at a place like Lush, but I've learned things there that I might not have learned any other way. What a beautiful thing!
