I know how you feel.
Believe it or not, that exact thing happened to me the last time I tried to post to this blog. So, here's the condensed version of my previous attempt to update all 5 of you readers. (Hi Mom!)
Here's what happens when we're not both at school, work or doing homework.
We solve murder mysteries over dinner. I played a hippie, Brad played the rich father of the "groom". I think we fit our parts pretty well.
We get crafty with construction paper and send it to our friends & family with love.
Brad surprises me with beautiful flowers.
Which I promptly put in a fancy vase.
We explore LA and Orange County.
We bake chocolate chip stuffed chocolate chip cookies.
We entertain visitors. (We've had around 6 sets of visitors come since we've lived here and I have taken pictures once. Once! We still love those we didn't take pictures of.) Here is my friend Marissa and her man Christopher, visiting from Olympia, WA.
We have puppet shows with old socks that look like they have faces in them. (Maybe a little gross, but hilarious!)
And occasionally we get to go home to visit! We just went up for Easter/Conference weekend, since it happened to be our Spring Break. Again, I think I only got my camera out twice, and only got 3 pictures!
Oh, and just before we left to come home, our tire blew out.
We're counting our blessings...and the days left 'til summer.
HAHA! I can not stop laughing about your vase! I read it first and was like oh I wonder what the cute vase looks like, then I see it! I love sarcasm:) Does Brad have class in the summer too or are you headed back? Hope things are awesome! Love the socks by the way!
ReplyDeleteCute blog!! Great post! I can be your 6th reader. :) I honestly don't think anyone reads my blog but I do it for my pleasure anyway. P.s. Where are you living??
ReplyDeleteWhat I want to know is who's idea was the sock puppet? I assume it was Brad because that is so him and am hoping he hasn't rubbed off on you in that way. So much fun! Live it up and do a lot of things now that you can't after you have kids. Make sure you go on a game show next and then blog about your winnings!
ReplyDeleteHey I'm a reader of your fun blog, so count me in with those other 5 ok! Love the post!
ReplyDeleteOk Seriously I just sat here and laughed my pants off at your post! And then I tried to explain the ali baba and the 40 theives game to Jesse. It just made me laugh more as I watched his confused face. Sigh. Wish we lived in the same town!
