White Christmas: California Style

Can you believe it!? We woke up to a White Christmas...California style of course. It was white with fog! It was good enough for me, I don't actually care too much for snow.

Even through all the fog Santa found his way to our house and spoiled us rotten.

He brought Brad a TV (we've been using the 12" that I won at Grad night) we're really moving up in life! He also brought him some movies and Wii games now that we'll actually be able to see when we play. There were some Legos and CD's and a gift card for more music in his stocking too. Oh and he brought Brad some fancy pants markers he's been wanting for his design work. Brad must have been an extra good boy this year. And don't you worry, I was pretty good myself! Santa brought me some clothes and a purse and some boots. He brought me some books I've been wanting (Whoopie Pies here I come!) and some money to play with at Sephora. Yay! And don't even get me started on Candy. There are treats galore in this house. See what I mean? Spoiled. Rotten. Here's Brad with all our loot.

Notice the "Fart: A Spotter's Guide" book, I think it ranked up there with the TV on Brad's list of favorite gifts. We're mature around here. Oh and since Santa knows we can't have dogs here, but we really, really want one, he gave us a calendar of dogs in costumes, called Indognito. It's hilarious and makes my day every time I see it. I think this is my favorite: Chihuahua Matador.

Thanks Santa!

Since we couldn't be with family this year some of our ward family invited us over to be with them. We went to a delicious Christmas dinner at the Thatcher's house. Here are our host and hostess: Jane and Connely Thatcher.
And the rest of the guests...

After we had dinner and chatted with the Thatchers we were off to play games with the Murdocks. They taught us to play Ticket to Ride, their favorite game. We loved it! I would just like to note that I came very close to winning, but Lacey beat me. Apparently she always wins, so I didn't feel so bad.

It was a wonderful and memorable Christmas, even though we weren't able to be with our families. I hope yours was just as Merry!
