Details of the Wedding!

A lot of people have been asking about our wedding and wanting to know the details of the day and the Reception, either because they couldn't make it or because they just want to know who took our pictures and did our cake and whatnot. I also wanted to be able to give credit where credit is due, because a lot of people put in a lot of work to make our wedding so wonderful. We still can't get over how perfect it was for us! So, I decided to post pictures of all our favorite details and things from the wedding! Prepare yourself, this is going to be a loooong post.

THE CAKE
Brad's sister, Jan, made it for us, and did such an amazing job! Each tier had a different design on it, with our flowers in between each one. Not only was it gorgeous, it was delicious! It had several different layers including brownie, chocolate truffle cream, chocolate cake, chocolate mousse, french vanilla cake! It makes my mouth water just thinking about it...

THE FLOWERS

One of Brad's other sisters, Paula did all our flowers and centerpieces. (Yeah, I know, super talented family) I chose all the flowers I wanted and then bought them wholesale and she arranged them and found the gorgeous lanterns. The only thing she didn't do was my bouquet and the boutonnieres and I got those done at BLOOMERS. I was thrilled with the way they all turned out.

THE CATERING

Our caterer was Lisa Shaw...and company. Oh my gosh, we loved everything last thing they did! The luncheon food was delicious and the reception dessert was heavenly! All the donuts were home made. We told Lisa I wanted hot chocolate and donuts and how I wanted it displayed and whatnot and she did the whole thing perfectly! Just look at it!
THE CANDY SHOP

If you can't tell by now, I have a tiny bit of a sweet tooth. I thought it would be fun for our guests to go to a little candy shop and take home a treat, and a nice way to thank them for their support. My mom and sister basically did the whole thing and it was just what I wanted.
THE PICTURES
Our photographer was Errin Andrus, whom we just loved. You can check out her blog, it's http://www.errinandrusphotography.blogspot.com/, if you want to see more of her work. (All the pictures I posted were the ones she took.) We are really happy with the way our photos turned out! She took a lot of pictures so that we had a lot to choose from, then she gave them all to us on a CD. Here are just some fun moments that she caught.

My mom is a wedding pro, she knew just what to do to make things run smoothly and how to make everything work. We had so much fun talking wedding plans and coming up with ideas. I love you Mom!

Also, a shout out to Brad, he was really involved with everything and I loved it! We had so much fun going around looking at all of our options and making plans. He was really patient with me when I couldn't make up my mind and knew just how to make me laugh when I was getting too stressed.
