It's August already!?

Here it is, 10 days before we move to California, and I JUST realized that we're moving in only 10 days! And I haven't done a single thing! I've been planning on it for months now, but it never really hit me because for so long I've been telling myself that I've got plenty of time! I went down at the beginning of July to look for housing, my parents were wonderful enough to take me down and hunt with me. We found a place that I'm really happy with so that helped to ease my mind a lot, and theirs too I think. Luckily Brad and I don't have that much stuff to move, and since Tuacahn was so kind as to put us up in a furnished apartment for the summer we haven't even unpacked our wedding stuff! It'll be like Christmas when we get down there and unload all our boxes because I've forgotten what we even got! I'm really, really excited about using all our own stuff finally.

Just in case you don't already know, Brad and I are moving down to Fullerton, California (It's right next to Anaheim. That's right, 15 minutes from the happiest place on earth, Disneyland! And, of course, the beach!) where Brad will be attending Grad School at Cal State Fullerton. He's getting his Masters of Fine Arts with an emphasis in Scenic Design. Brad will be working in the scene shop and teaching a class ( I think...)and things like that to "pay" his tuition so we won't be actually be paying out of pocket for his degree, it's such a HUGE blessing!

What will I be doing there you ask? Well, I'm open to suggestions. I'm dying to get back to school and finish my degree but by the time I decided that's what I wanted to do it was too late to get into CSUF for undergrads. So, for now I'm praying that I'll be able to find a job!

I'm getting really excited for our new adventure though, California is a beautiful place with so many different opportunities! All I'm saying is...start planning your next visit to Orange County soon, our hide-a-bed is your hide-a-bed.
