The Happiest Place on Earth

Usually the first thing people ask us when they find out where we live is, "Do you go to Disneyland ALL the time?!" They're usually disappointed to hear we don't, and that we don't even have season passes. But when I first started my job last year, they sent me to a tourism convention that Disney put on, and they gave everyone two free tickets to Disneyland for showing up! Bonus! Brad and I finally got around to using them a couple of weeks ago when the semester ended. We went on a Thursday and it was the best idea we've ever had! The longest we waited in line was probably about 15 for most of the day. Toward evening the lines did get a little longer, but we had already been on all our favorites so we didn't mind. We had such a good time that now we're thinking we might just have to get annual passes. I know, we have to so hard be a southern California resident.






((Please note both of our red shirts. Brad sneakily got me to wear a red shirt so that if I got lost he could look at his own shirt and remember what color I was wearing. Not a bad idea, but it's pretty hard to lose someone you're holing hands with. He's a sneaky one, that Brad, but I sure do love him!))
